Our Autumn CPD morning for teachers and support staff took place on 2nd September 2025 at Stonham
Barns near Stowmarket. It was led by Sarah Johnson, a member for the Department of Education’s
alternative provision stakeholder group. Sarah has supported development of policy as well as chairing a
range of panels and events within the education sector. She is an educationalist who has enjoyed roles in
mainstream schools, pupil referral units, alternative provision and psychiatric in-patient services. The focus
of the session was managing behaviour.
